In order to meet safety and compliance requirements, contractors working to support the energy industry must have a full understanding of safety processes and procedures, including (PSM) regulations, and understand how it can affect their ability to work safely. For over 30 years the Health and Safety Council (HASC) has been focused on delivering training for contractors and workers who support the energy industry, including PSM new hire training. HASC has released several new courses for major refiners and to support new hire PSM training that utilizes adult learning techniques and innovative delivery techniques to help workers stay as safe as possible on jobsites in the energy industry.
